About
Hi, I’m Sara Ryan Davis, MSW, LCSW, NPT-C—a psychotherapist, and Certified Neuropsychotherapist passionate about helping people create lives that feel authentic, grounded, and fulfilling. Over the past decade, I’ve guided women, teens, and athletes through challenges like anxiety, identity struggles, and performance pressure, while equipping them with tools to thrive beyond obstacles.
My approach to therapy is both relational and clinically grounded. I utilize evidence-based modalities while also considering each client’s unique history, environment, and neurobiological patterns.
Therapy is not simply about symptom relief—it is about understanding the underlying mechanisms that drive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and creating meaningful, sustainable change over time.
My goal is to provide a space that is both supportive and clinically effective—where clients can explore challenges, develop insight, and move toward greater emotional stability and well-being.

Grow Your Vision and Remember...
Coaching and psychotherapy are distinct professions with different goals and approaches. Psychotherapy focuses on emotional and mental health issues, often exploring past experiences, trauma, and family history to alleviate symptoms and change dysfunctional patterns. In contrast, coaching is future-focused, action-oriented, and goal-driven, emphasizing personal or professional development without delving into past emotional pain.Clients in coaching define success and are expected to actively participate in tracking progress. Unlike therapy, coaching does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.Due to the differing roles and potential for conflict, it is ethically inappropriate for a professional to serve as both coach and therapist for the same client.
